Do you work with abused and neglected children,
spouse abuse or other forms of intra-family violence?

Are you interested in learning about a new effective approach
to working with violence in families?

This conference should be of major interest to all professionals working in Health, Social Services and Education:
social workers, family therapists, psychologists, child psychotherapists, psychiatrists, teachers, pedagogues and educators, nurses, social policy makers, child protection agencies and child welfare organisations.

The conference introduces the innovative MFT-V model, a structured Multi-Family Therapy approach, applied to working with intra-family violence. This will help professionals to decide whether to implement the approach in their work settings and to introduce it to social policy makers, as a recognized and valuable tool for combating family violence. Experienced practitioners and therapists from different European countries who have developed MFT-V present the approach, which is illustrated by many audio-visual clips and supported by an e-manual. The conference consists of a number of plenary presentations and workshops, aimed at demonstrating theory and practice of MFT-V and its application in different social and cultural contexts.

The conference will be conducted in English with translation into French.
Cost: 65 Euros, including lunch on December 15th and coffee & other refreshments on both days.
The conference is supported by a generous grant from the European Commission (Daphne).
